Hit 10,000 feet of weld on 3/8 plate and it finally clicked why the old timers stress bead sequence

I always thought weaving was the way to go until I counted up my footage last week. The straight stringer beads with proper spacing cut my post-weld grinding time by almost half. Anybody else notice a big difference switching techniques on heavier material?

Ngl, I switched to stringers on 3/8 and my grinding wheel thanked me.

Stringers just waste time @black.amy, standard wheels work fine.
