Hit 2000 hours of stick welding last week. That number matters.
Been keeping a log in my phone. Just rough estimates. Hit 2000 hours of actual rod burning time last Thursday. Felt like a real milestone. Made me realize how much bad technique I carried for the first 500 hours. Anyone else track their stick time? What number made you feel like you leveled up?

Shit yeah, that's a real marker. What was the bad technique you had to unlearn, was it arc length or travel speed?
