The same thing happened to me but with the hard water here leaving crust on the soil, not just the yellow leaves. Switching to filtered fixed the leaves but then I had to flush the pot for like 10 minutes to wash out all the salt build up from months of tap. So if your plant perks up but stalls after a week, the soil itself is still holding all that junk and needs a good rinse.

Used to fill mine up but that quarter tank thing actually makes sense now.

Roast one on Sunday and you eat like a king all week. I pull the meat for tacos, then soup, then toss the carcass in a pot with onion and carrot ends for stock. That stock alone saves me like $12 on those little cartons. Boneless breasts are a scam for people who hate flavor anyway, dark meat is where it's at. People pay extra for less food and then wonder why their budget is shot lol.
