Pro tip: Picked a Miller Big 40 over a Lincoln Ranger 330 for site work
Last month I had to choose between a Miller Big 40 and a Lincoln Ranger 330 for a job down in Baton Rouge. I went with the Miller because I heard they hold up better in the heat and humidity down south. First week in, we had a stretch of 95 degree days and that machine never skipped a beat. The arc is smooth on 7018 rod even when it's cranking. Only downside is it's a little heavier than the Lincoln, but I'm used to hauling gear anyway. How have you guys fared with either of these on long jobs?

Miller's definitely the right call for that humidity. Those Lincolns get finicky when the air gets thick. Good to know the arc stays butter smooth on 7018.
