Saw a guy use a cutting torch on a rusted bolt and every bolt in the crew stared
Watched a 20-year veteran show me how alternating heat and wax frees a seized fitting in 12 minutes, versus the 40 I spent fighting it with a breaker bar, so why do half the apprentices still torch straight through the threads and call it done?

Read an old machinist handbook that said wax is basically liquid luck for stuck threads, capillary action pulls it right in. Most apprentices just skip the theory and go straight to the brute force, then wonder why they're still cussing at the part an hour later.
