I used to think our book club should always agree, but a big fight over that dystopian novel made me see why arguments matter.

Disagree with the idea that arguments help. That big fight over the dystopian novel just made everyone angry and stopped us from talking for weeks. It felt like we were in our own little worlds, not a club anymore. Sometimes it's better to just enjoy the book and keep things smooth.

Ugh, I TOTALLY get that. Those big arguments just ruin the fun and make it feel like WORK. Smooth talks are way better for keeping the club together.

Seriously, that fight over the dystopian novel got so heated we basically lived the plot. We had our own factions and everything, like a bad book club spin-off. Smooth chats are dull but way better than someone actually crying over made-up government systems. I was waiting for someone to declare themselves president of the ruined discussion.
