Just found out my book club was skipping the best chapters because of a reading trick I learned
I been in this book club for about 2 years and we always struggled with finishing books on time. Last month I started trying this thing where I read the first and last paragraph of each chapter first before diving in. It gave me a roadmap for the whole chapter and I finished 3 books ahead of schedule for our last meeting. Has anyone else tried this method or do you think it ruins the experience?

Speedran a book club" - that's not really what's happening here though. It's more like getting a preview before you read, same way people watch trailers before movies.
