Found a trick for fixing warped book boards with a damp towel
Last week I had a batch of old encyclopedias with boards that were curling up bad, so I tried lightly dampening a cloth and pressing them overnight under three stacks of heavy textbooks. It flattened them out way better than I expected. Anyone else use moisture to correct warping or is that a rookie mistake waiting to ruin the whole cover?
