My bone folder snapped clean in half during a tight corner fold
It happened yesterday while I was working on a small leather journal. I was pressing down on a fold near the spine, and the plastic just gave way. I had to finish the edge with the back of a spoon, which worked okay but wasn't the same. Has anyone had a bone folder break, and what's a good sturdy brand to replace it?

Read a forum post last year where someone's plastic folder snapped just like that. They switched to a solid teflon one and said it held up way better. Might be worth looking into those instead of the cheap plastic kind.

Huh, I've had the opposite luck with Teflon ones cracking under stress too.

Yeah, had a plastic one break on me too. Switched to a metal binder clip and it's been solid for years now.
