Noticed my peace lily perked up completely after I switched to filtered water for 2 months

I'd been using tap water for years and it always had brown tips, but after switching to water from my Brita pitcher in January the new leaves came in perfectly green and even the old ones got rid of the crispy edges - has anyone else seen this kind of change with their houseplants?

Well I'll be... sounds like your peace lily went from drinking out of a muddy puddle to sipping spring water from a crystal glass. Brown tips going away after two months? That's like watching a dying man crawl back from the brink because you finally stopped giving him rusty water. I gotta say, that's pretty impressive for a plant that usually just sits there looking dramatic when you forget to water it for one day. Makes you wonder what else in our lives would perk up if we just filtered out the junk. Good for you though, that's a win worth bragging about.
