That one rainy week last spring where everything just grew like crazy

Had a stretch of 5 days straight of drizzle in my backyard in Nashville back in March and suddenly my hostas doubled in size and the ferns just exploded. Has anyone else had a specific weather window that made their garden look completely different than the rest of the season?

Man that's exactly what happened to me with my tomatoes last May. We had a solid 4 days of light rain and overcast skies in Atlanta and my Cherokee Purples went from being kinda sad to taking over their cages in like a week. The humidity stayed high too so the soil never fully dried out between showers, I think that's what really did it. My basil went nuts as well, I had to give half of it away to neighbors.

@white.alex I used to think soil drying out was fine but this changed my mind.
