The old guy at the Portland nursery told me to stop watering my snake plant on a schedule
I was at a plant swap in Portland back in April and this older guy named Ray watched me check the soil of my snake plant with my finger and told me to just lift the pot instead. He said a dry pot feels light like a bag of chips and a wet one feels like a bag of wet sand, and I tested it on my own plants last weekend and he was right on both of them. Does anyone else use the weight trick, or am I the last person to hear about this?
