A brick saw blade snapped on me halfway through a big patio job in Springfield.

It was a Tuesday morning, cutting a batch of pavers for a herringbone pattern. The blade, a 14-inch diamond model I've had for about three years, just gave a loud crack and stopped dead. I had to send my helper to the supply house for a new one, which cost $180 and put us two hours behind. Has anyone else had a blade fail like that, or is three years a decent run for heavy use?

Three years is actually a great run, lol.

Actually it was more like five years for me before I hit that wall. That no email break sounds like it was a game changer though.

Yeah three years is no joke. I just hit a wall and had to force myself to take a real break, like no checking emails at all. That reset actually helped a ton.
