My mixer died mid-pour on a Tuesday, and the guy at the supply yard in Gary saved my week
Halfway through laying a 12 foot wall last Tuesday my old paddle mixer just quit, so I ran to the yard in Gary and the counter guy asked if I was mixing too dry and burning out the motor. Sure enough my mix was stiff as hell because I was rushing the water, and since I backed off to a looser mix the new one has run fine for three weeks. Anybody else cook a mixer that way or was I just being cheap with the water?
