Stopped at a diner in Scranton last week and noticed the menu prices threw me off

I used to grab a full breakfast for under $6 at Rosie's Diner back in 2018, but last week the same plate was $11.50. They still used the same old griddle and the hash browns tasted just as good, but I couldn't believe how much things shifted in just six years. Has anyone else hit a spot where the prices went up but the quality stayed the same?

Six years is a long time though. Inflation hit everything, not just diner eggs. Gas, rent, food costs all went up. Weird to act surprised a business raised prices when everything else did too.

$18.50 for three eggs is just the universe telling you to eat at home more, @blake_smith... or at least stop ordering the "premium" eggs.
