Showerthought: guy at a hostel in Lisbon paid $9 a night but spent $22 a day on coffee
Sat next to this guy last Tuesday who bragged about his $9 hostel bunk in Lisbon, then watched him buy three flat whites a day at $7 a pop. That is $22 daily on coffee, more than double his bed, and he never once connected the two numbers. Do you track the small daily stuff like drinks, or is that too much work when you travel?
