Switched to a shampoo bar for travel and I'm never going back

Idk why I didn't try this sooner, but I used to spend so much on those tiny bottles. Now with one solid bar, I save space and cash, and it's way better for the planet. What other green swaps have you tried that cut costs on trips?

Shampoo bars are a mess for travel though, they get goopy in wet toiletry bags. I use one at home but stick to small bottles on the road. @the_kelly's friend got lucky it worked for them, but mine just melted into a waxy lump, lol. It kinda defeats the purpose if you need a special container to keep it dry.

My friend saved cash by switching to a shampoo bar for travel.

Wait, they saved cash? How? Those fancy shampoo bars cost more than a regular bottle at my store. I saw one for like twelve bucks last week. A big bottle of shampoo is maybe five dollars and lasts for months. The math just doesn't work out for me.
