Mark from work said to axe every streaming service. I saved $45 a month but my social life took a hit.

Last January, Mark in accounting told me to cancel all my streaming subscriptions to save money. I was spending $45 a month on three services. Six months later, I had $270 extra in my emergency fund. However, I couldn't join in on water cooler talks about new shows, and my weekend plans dried up. Now I'm debating if the financial win is worth feeling out of the loop. Has anyone else found a middle ground, like keeping just one service?

Man, Mark from accounting is out here solving the budget but killing the vibe. You basically traded your entire personality for a coffee can full of pennies. The secret is to keep ONE service, the one with the shows everyone actually talks about, and then just mooch passwords for the rest like a normal person. That way you save like thirty bucks and can still fake your way through a conversation about the latest season.

Mooching is the real life hack, but you gotta rotate which service you pay for (to keep the password mooching going strong).

That rotation plan from @patsingh sounds like a part-time job. Just pick the one with the best original shows and let the rest go.
