Took me 4 hours to figure out why my grocery app kept saying I spent $112 more than my bank did
Last month my grocery app and my bank statement were off by $112 and I could not find it. I sat at my kitchen table in Rochester with a highlighter going line by line for 4 hours before I saw it: the app was counting the same $56 Costco run twice because I scanned the receipt and then entered it by hand. I deleted the duplicate entries and finally got the two totals to match to the penny. Has anyone else had a budget app double count something and drive them crazy?
