Found someone at a stationery store who said my bullet journal was too rigid

I ran into a woman at a local paper shop who told me I was overcomplicating my daily logs. She said she just uses index cards and a binder clip. Has anyone else met people who think the structure defeats the purpose?

Index cards and a binder clip?! That's wild. I'd lose those cards before I even got home.

Nah, let her do her thing. Index cards work great until you drop the stack in a puddle or your cat sneezes on them. I've seen people swear by binders and then give up after two weeks because nothing stays in order. Bullet journals are supposed to be flexible, but that doesn't mean a little structure is a crime.
