My $45 washi tape hoard is now a drawer of regret

I bought 12 rolls from that cute shop on Etsy because the patterns were too pretty to resist. Six months later I've used maybe 2 rolls and the rest just sit there, taking up space and reminding me that I have a problem. Anyone else buy way too much decorative tape thinking it would spark joy in every weekly spread?

Put them in a ziplock bag and forget about them for a year. Trust me, the ones you actually like will resurface and the rest you can gift to a friend who does junk journals. Been there, done that, still have a half full drawer.

Funny how that works with everything now, not just tape. Bought a fancy bread maker last year thinking I'd become one of those homemade sourdough people, used it twice and now it's basically a very expensive dust collector in the corner. Guess we all just like the idea of being someone who does the thing more than actually doing it.
