Rant: My new band saw blade lasted 11 cuts before snapping

Bought a supposedly premium blade from a supply house in Omaha last Tuesday, threw it on the saw, and it snapped on the 11th pork shoulder. The rep said I must have hit bone, but I've hit bone a thousand times with the cheap ones that ran for months. Has anyone else had luck with a specific blade brand for heavy bone work?
