Showerthought: Explaining meat cuts at a friend's BBQ was oddly familiar

I was explaining fat patterns and meat grain without even trying. It hit me that work stuff just comes out in regular chats.

I caught myself pointing out the marbling on a ribeye like it was a quarterly report. My friend just wanted to know if it was done. The jargon just falls out of my mouth now, completely useless at a cookout.
