A trainer at my shop in Tulsa told me to stop using a staple gun on interior walls, and I fought him on it
I ran staples on every drop for 4 years because it was fast and nobody complained. My lead tech pulled me aside after a job in Broken Arrow and said the staples were pinching the cable and he had already swapped 3 of my outlets to screw clips. I switched to screw clips on interior runs and my callback rate dropped from about 2 a month to almost zero. Still use staples on exterior though, so I am not fully converted. Does anyone else split it by wall type or did you go all clips everywhere?
