So my friend Dave kept telling me to cook air fryer chicken thighs at 400 for exactly 10 minutes, no flip. I tried it three times last month and every batch came out raw near the bone. Apparently about 70 percent of short story submissions to lit mags get rejected before the reader even finishes the first page. I'm not kidding.
