A guy at the REI in Denver showed me his $12 stove hack and I still use it
I was returning a fuel canister last month when this older guy heard me complaining about my stove sputtering in the cold, and he pulled out a strip of reflectix he cut to wrap around the canister. He said it kept his canister warm enough to finish breakfast at 9,000 feet in Rocky Mountain National Park. Has anyone else tried wrapping their canister like that, or do you just switch to a white gas stove when it drops below freezing?
