Found out my old 2-burner stove weighs as much as 3 modern ones, who knew

I was cleaning out the garage last weekend and pulled out the Coleman stove my dad handed down to me. It's the old green one, must be from the 80s. I got curious and looked it up online, turns out it weighs like 11 pounds. The newer dual fuel ones are around 7 pounds. But then I saw some ultra compact models that are barely 4 pounds. So my stove weighs more than 2 of the new ones combined. That surprised me, I figured the old ones were heavy but not THAT heavy. Still, I've used that thing for 15 years without a single issue, it just keeps going. My buddy swears by his tiny titanium setup but I can't see giving up the reliability. Anyone else still hauling around the old heavy gear or am I just stuck in my ways?

4 pounds is practically a toy, you can't tell me that little thing boils a pot in any decent time. That old Coleman has proved itself for 15 years, I'd call that worth the extra 4 pounds.
