Serious question, does anyone else think those $8 squeeze filter bags are overhyped?
I laughed at my brother in law when he pulled out a little gray squeeze bag on our trip to Pictured Rocks last month, but after two days of pumping a hand filter while he just drank straight from the lake, I ordered one the second we got home.

Pictured Rocks will absolutely make you question your whole setup. But $8 for a bag that squeezes water through a filter seems like a lot when a Sawyer costs $20 and lasts forever. Feels more like a comfort thing than a real upgrade.
