Can we talk about the $400 I spent on a tiny generator for my food truck
I used to say anyone hauling a generator around was just burning money for no reason, right up until my old one quit on a 95 degree Saturday outside a brewery in Asheville. I paid $400 for a little inverter one off a guy on Marketplace, and it kept two freezers cold through a six hour outage the very next month. Here is the part I couldn't say out loud at the time, I was wrong and I was loud about being wrong. Now my aunt keeps telling everyone I wasted that money and I just smile and plug in the crock pots. What is the cheapest backup thing you own that you would fight someone over?
