Got a 7 day mute in a fantasy football group chat for saying a trade was dumb, and it was the quietest week of my life.
Last Monday I typed "this trade is straight trash" in our 12 team league chat after a guy swapped Josh Allen for two bench guys, and the commish muted me for a week. I could still read every message but could not reply, which was weirdly awful since I had a take ready for every single one. Day 3 was the worst, somebody said my RB was washed and I just sat there staring at the screen for 10 minutes. Here is the hack that got me through it: I typed all my replies in a notes app first, then deleted 90% of them before the mute lifted. Has anyone else been silenced somewhere and found that keeping a dumb running list of comebacks actually helped?
