I got a 7 day ban from a fishing forum in 2009 for saying a lake was 'fished out'
Back in 2009 I posted on a bass fishing board that Lake Fork near Dallas was fished out after three trips with no bites, and a mod deleted it and gave me a week off for 'discouraging new members.' Last month I made almost the same post on the same board about a different lake and got 12 replies agreeing with me plus a guy sharing his tackle setup. When did honest complaints about a spot turn into something you can actually say out loud online?
