Showerthought: Getting good at not explaining my truck at block parties
I mentioned once that the noise from my moving van was just furniture shifting, not a break-in. The host cut me off, saying it killed the mood. Now I just let people assume it's a mystery vehicle. Picked up the skill of selective silence. Saves me from being the buzzkill every time.
