That time I flipped on remote work after hating it for 2 years
Last March I was the guy at my company in Austin arguing that everyone needed to be in the office five days a week. I thought remote workers were just slacking off. Then my wife broke her ankle and I had to work from home for three weeks while taking care of her. I got more done in those three weeks than the previous two months combined and my boss even commented on it. Anyone else have a situation that made you do a complete 180 on something you were dead set against?

Went through the same thing myself when my dog got sick and I couldn't leave the house for a week.

A week stuck at home with a sick animal is rough, but a lot of folks don't have that option at all. Some people have to go to work or take care of kids no matter what.
