TIL my pantry shelf plan was a quiet win
I thought open shelves would make our pantry easier to use, but my dad said they'd just get messy. I didn't push it and let the idea go. Last weekend, I set them up anyway while he was out, and now he says it's way better. Pretty cool to see it work without arguing.

That "skip the debate and just show them" method is the only thing that works with some people. They need to see the result to get it. Your pantry is proof.

Ever notice how the loudest critics come around after you just do the thing? Your dad doubting the shelves but then admitting they work is perfect. Sometimes you gotta skip the debate and just show them. Seeing all your cans and boxes lined up plain as day probably made it click for him. Nice quiet win.
