I was finishing a small patio in Cincinnati last month, and I left for lunch right after the final trowel. Came back 30 minutes later to find a squirrel had dug a perfect little hole in the soft concrete and buried an acorn. I had to patch it up quick before the homeowner saw. Has anyone else had an animal mess with a pour before it set?

He was working on a 2018 Civic in the bay next to mine and went straight at it with a 40-grit disc, no blocking at all. I had to stop him before he went through the metal and explained you need to use a softer block to spread the pressure. How many of you still see people skipping the blocking step on a big repair?
