Warning: I got flagged for saying a local protest was 'mostly peaceful' in a city Facebook group
I posted a photo from the rally in Portland last month with the caption 'looks mostly peaceful to me'. The mods removed it within an hour and said it 'violated community standards on misinformation'. I checked the rules and they don't actually define what counts as misinformation, it's just whatever they decide. Has anyone else had a post taken down for describing something you actually saw?

They flagged you for saying what you saw?

Yeah, got a three day ban for pointing out a guy was clearly using a bot in ranked. I mean, watching a character spin in perfect circles for five minutes isn't exactly high level strategy. My honesty is apparently a bigger offense than the actual cheating.

Used to be one of those people who thought mods were just doing their best and we should cut them slack. But seeing stories like this pop up again and really changes your view. They'd rather punish the person calling out the obvious cheater than actually fix the broken system. Guess it's easier to silence the messenger than deal with the real problem. Ngl, it makes me not want to report anything anymore since you might just get hit yourself.
