Just realized something at the Austin tech job fair last week

Every single recruiter booth had the same three words on their signs: 'fast-paced environment'. It felt like a copy-paste job, not a real pitch. Does that phrase even mean anything to people hiring anymore?

Wait, every single booth had the same sign? That's actually insane. It's like they all got the same terrible memo from corporate. How does anyone think that makes their company stand out? It just tells me they have no real culture to talk about. They're using a phrase that means nothing because they have nothing real to say. Honestly, it makes me want to avoid those companies completely.

Remember that friend who took a job because they said it was a fast-paced environment? It just meant the deadlines were impossible and the planning was a mess. The phrase is so overused it's lost all real meaning, like they're just checking a box. At this point, it feels like a warning sign for chaos instead of a selling point.
