That 3-line intro email got me more replies than my 5-paragraph cover letter

I've been applying for warehouse supervisor roles around Akron for like 4 months now, and I kept sending these long cover letters with all my certs and experience. Got maybe 2 callbacks total. Then last week I tried something dumb, just sent a 3 line email that said I saw the posting and had 6 years of forklift and team lead experience, attached my resume. Got 4 replies in 5 days. Feels like managers don't even read the fancy stuff, they just want the basics fast. Is everyone else seeing this shift or am I just finally doing it right? What's your go-to intro format that actually gets responses?

Yeah that tracks honestly, hiring folks just want the quick stuff these days.
