Pro tip: that 1/8 inch gap on a stair stringer cost me 3 hours and a trip to Albany
Spent Saturday cutting a new stringer for a client in Albany because my first one sat 1/8 inch proud and nothing I did with a chisel and block plane would hide it. Anyone else find that fixing one small gap always turns into a full re-cut?
