Dropped $85 on a knee kicker upgrade and my helper says it was a waste, who's right here
After 6 years of fighting stairs with the basic kicker that came in my starter kit, I finally bought the $85 upgrade with the padded head and adjustable pin last month. My knees quit aching after a 3 day stretch job in Sacramento, but my helper swears the cheap one works fine and I just got soft. So is a good kicker worth the money or did I get played by the guy at the supply house?

Six years of achy knees is the tell here, my old boss made me run the cheap one for two years before I bought a padded kicker and the pain stopped within a week. Your helper probably just hasn't hit that 3 day stretch yet where the cheap pin slips and you're fighting it the whole time.
