Just realized the seam iron setting I've used for 12 years was wrong, fixed it at a job in Boise last Tuesday
Had a stretch of berber to seam up in a rental over off Fairview, and the seam kept peaking no matter how slow I went. The homeowner's brother in law hangs around and mentions he did 20 years in the trade down in Reno. He asks what temp I run. I say 4 like always. He says try 3 and let the tape cool under the roller before you touch it. Did that and the seam laid flat, no peaking, no bleed through. Been doing this since 2009 and nobody ever said a word. What temp are you all running on berber, cause now I'm second guessing myself on everything.
