Pulled 80 yards of berber in one day on a bet, and my knees filed a complaint
Last Wednesday a builder bet me lunch I couldn't knock out three bedrooms of berber before 5pm. I said sure, forgot berber is stiff as plywood, and ended up stretching the last room at 4:50 with my knee pad halfway off. Won the bet but tweaked something in my right knee on the final stretch, so the free sandwich cost me a week of ibuprofen. The weird part is the rooms looked great, maybe the cleanest seams I've done all spring. Anyone got a stretch technique for berber that doesn't wreck your knees, or am I just getting old?
