Unpopular opinion: My banned poetry collection changed my view

I collect poetry that was banned. Have a book from the 1960s with protest themes. It was called dangerous back then. Now it reads like plain truth. Shows how fear shifts over time.

Reading that makes me wish my bad poetry was banned for being DANGEROUS instead of just boring. My work wouldn't scare anyone, just put them to sleep.

Wait, you think putting people to sleep is safe? Boring is its own kind of danger. Ever nod off reading something dry while cooking and almost burn the place down? A truly dull poem read at the wrong time could cause real problems. Your work might be more risky than you think.
