I finally got un-banned after 8 months for calling a city council plan 'dumb' in a comment
Back in March I called a local housing plan 'dumb' on a neighborhood page and got a 30 day mute that turned into 8 months because every time I asked about it the mod just extended it. I tried emailing the site, posting on their help forum, and even made a new account just to read, but nothing worked until an old mod from the page DM'd me and pushed it through last week. Has anyone else had a simple word turn into a way longer ban than the rules ever said it would be?

An old mod pushing it through is what saved me too, took 5 months.
