I finally looked back at my old blog from college and the comment debates are all deleted now.
Seeing how much online conversation has been cleaned up makes me miss the raw discussions we used to have.

Ever notice how cleaned-up history makes bad ideas look new again? Future people will repeat the same dumb stuff because all the messy warning signs got deleted. It's like removing the caution labels before handing them the box.

Maybe it's just me but I read somewhere that deleting old comments wipes out the learning process. Like, we lose the mess that showed us what didn't work.
