My city council meeting got cut off when I brought up the library filter

Tbh I sat through 45 minutes of public comment in Austin last month, and when I raised the library's internet filter blocking LGBTQ+ resources, they hit the mute button on my mic. The mayor said 'we're moving on' and that was it. Has anyone else had their local officials shut down a topic like that, and did you find a better way to get heard?
