Had to choose between a new high-end range or a full hood system upgrade. Went with the hood. Best kitchen call I ever made.

Oh, for sure! A great hood is a total game changer (and way less smoke in your eyes).

Honestly, same here, a good hood makes cooking way more enjoyable.
