Just realized my tool offsets were off for months, a simple square check exposed it
Was running a job last week and the finish kept coming out looking burnished on one edge. Decided to sweep a square against the spindle face and turns out my whole Z reference was off by 0.002 from when I originally set it up. Anyone else trust their offsets too long before double checking with a basic indicator?

The burnished edge thing is such a sneaky sign. I did the same exact thing once, ran parts for way too long before finally sweeping a square and found my X was off like 0.0015. Makes you feel kinda dumb when the fix is so simple and it was right there all along.
