A senior dev told me my variable names were 'cryptic' 2 years ago
He said 'future you will hate present you' and now I write stuff like 'userEmail' instead of 'ue'. Anyone else have a piece of feedback that just STUCK?

My buddy Jake had a code review where someone wrote "this function is a wall of text" in the comments. He's been obsessive about breaking things into smaller functions ever since, like it broke his brain a little.
