My cousin swears you should learn JavaScript first, I say Python, and we argued about it at Thanksgiving in Boise
He kept saying JavaScript because you can see stuff happen right away in a browser, and honestly the "see it work" part is fair. But I told him Python reads way more like plain English, so a total newbie spends less time fighting weird symbols and more time just writing loops and lists. Also every beginner guide I peeked at on YouTube last week agreed with me, which he called "cherry picking." So what did you all start with, and would you pick the same thing again if you had to do it over?
